Sunny was born in Europe but grew up in San Diego, California before moving to Australia at the age of 20. He's a journalist by trade but has worked in the surf and action sports industry in various content and editorial roles. First at Surfing Life Magazine, then Firewire, Billabong, and Volcom before going solo in 2018.
