Simone is a photographer from Santa Monica, California who started shooting as a teen. She fell in love with the way photographs could tell stories, all the while creating emotions for her audience. While Simone grew up in the large city of Los Angeles, she created an inseparable bond with the ocean, growing up as both a surfer and sailor on the high seas. She went to college at University of California, Santa Barbara where she studied Environmental Sciences and Film. It was there she decided her fate as an ocean photographer and environmental documentarian. Although surfers and waves are her main subjects, she also focuses on other ocean-faring sports and issues such as windsurfing, sailing, and environmental concerns. At the moment, she is a freelance photographer and videographer in San Diego and has a passion for traveling to capture these unique sports and the people they bring in. She aspires to be a photographer for National Geographic or an action sports production company.
