Shayla Chippendale was born and raised in Southern California around the surfing world. She has only had a camera in her hands for a couple of years, but she fell in love with surf photography right away. She loves sitting on the beach for hours and capturing that moment for others and seeing the stoke on their faces. The surf industry is a rough business and there are many photographers, but every day Shayla works on differentiating herself from them all. Plus, it's not all about the magazine cover or the money. Shayla wants people to enjoy her images and make them feel like they were there.
