Shawn Griggs has been creating art for as long as he can remember. During his early years and throughout college, he focused solely on pen and ink and drawing, being influenced by the work of Authur Rackham. It wasn't until 2000 that he finally embraced the paintbrush. Now in his mid-40s, Shawn lives in the town he was raised in, where he has Redeye Laboratories (gallery/studio) and tries to surf as much as the Northern California coast will let him.
