Scotti Shafer is a Southern California native, having grown up in Carlsbad, CA where she was an avid Junior Guard and learned to swim, surf, bodysurf, and water ski at a young age. She played water polo at Stanford University and spent a few years surfing in the Bay Area before settling in San Clemente, where she lives with her husband and two young daughters. When not working, she and her family can usually be found longboarding at San Onofre, bodysurfing San Clemente shore breaks, sailing around Dana Point, or chasing waves in their van (similar to the one she lived in during college). She loves nothing more than sharing waves and her passion for the water with her little ones who have been on a board with her since they were in the womb.
