I skated badly as a kid then fell for snowboarding big time in my early 20s. Seasons in Chamonix and a love of surf followed before the pull of journalism cruelly drew me back to London. I did some freelance for the epic surf, snow and skate title Adrenalin (RIP), worked on a style mag and a cheesy health mag to learn my trade then scored a dream job as editor of Cooler [coolermag.com], a surf, snow and style magazine for young women. I now live in Brighton, UK, which on a sunny day can feel positively Californian, in my head at least.
