Sam is from Venice, California, and has been living in Lisbon for the better part of 2 years while he completes his MSc in Marketing at Lisbon's ISCTE Business School. If he had a dollar (euro) for every time he's been overheard saying "that was the best wave of my life" in the last two years... he'd buy something really expensive. Sam came on a trip to the west coast of Europe three years ago in hopes of finding a seaside city with good waves and good schools where he could do his Master's. The trip began in coastal Spain and ended with three months in Lisbon. He hasn't looked back since.
