Yes, there is surf in the Netherlands. There’s also a vibrant community with over 10,000 people paddling out on a regular basis. We have crowds, we have localism. However, we didn’t have a writer who wrote about more than just surf trips and boring sessions until I started Surfoloog, which translates to Surfologist. Surfoloog is nothing more than an opinionated Dutch guy who studied psychology, loves catching waves and writing about it. I like taking the piss out of others, but mostly myself.
