Rian Greeff was bred to surf, especially in big barreling lefts. He spent nearly seven years of his childhood living and sailing on a 40ft steel boat. During this time he sailed from Africa to South America, the Caribbean, Central America and the U.S.A. Educated in South Africa, he received a bachelor’s degree in Education, which he uses to work as a school teacher and fund his surfing adventures. His passions include inspiring the youth, surfing, traveling and writing. He lives in Indonesia with his wife and family.
