Pete Halvorsen is a native Californian and a much better photographer than he is a surfer. A husband and father of two, Pete loves looking for the fresh angles and new ways to tell stories with the camera. He has shot for clients like TOMS, Toyota and Microsoft/Nokia. His work has been featured worldwide. Recently, The Getty Center displayed a series of his photographs from the South Bay surf scene. An early adopter of social media photo sharing, Pete has over 112,000 followers on Instagram and was recently named one of the top travel photographers by Business Insider. Pete has also never found it comfortable to write his bios in third person.
