Nicky is from Dublin, Ireland, a city not known for its surf. He has spent just as much time driving to surf spots as he has actually surfing them. Jealous of anyone who lives by a surf beach, he set up Surf Holidays in 2005 to get closer to the waves. The company offers beachfront accommodation and surf lessons in Europe’s top surf towns. He still occasionally surfs in Dublin, chasing the waves off the back of the ocean liners.
