Nick Bruckbauer is a runner, hiker, skier, and paddler who lives in the year-round outdoor playground of South Lake Tahoe. Originally from Wisconsin, Nick moved to Santa Barbara, CA in 2008 and discovered his love of paddle sports. Since then, he’s own various kayaks and paddle boards, and has traveled with his inflatable SUPs throughout the west coast and even as far as the Maldives. A former engineer, Nick has an analytical eye to help readers find the best gear for their needs.
