Michael Woodsmall is a bred Midwesterner and country kid at heart, but spending winters and summers in the Rockies, found his home in the mountains. Born in Japan and bicoastal for college and the beginnings of his "real life," he has also thoroughly enjoyed a rampant love affair with the ocean. Michael was formerly the Managing Editor of The New York Observer, a literary weekly newspaper, as well as co-creator of Supercompressor, a digital products-pegged men's lifestyle magazine. His penchant for mixing booze and country music has proven to be a sticking point in the cultivation of his urban relationships in both New York and Los Angeles. If not at a handful of bucket-of-beers bars, you'll most likely find him on a highway to nowhere doing his best Ray Lamontagne impressions.
