Mike Wallace lives in Moss Beach with his family of four (and blind dog Moose), frequently haunting the reef and beach breaks around Devil’s Slide. He has written on the origins of the wetsuit, computer shaping and Maverick’s forecasting, among other topics. Mike shapes surfboards ranging from 10-0 guns on down to 5-7 fishes for friends and he also coaches the Half Moon Bay High Surf Team, on which his two kids Kon and Kai compete. Both of them learned to surf at Martin’s Beach.
