Maxx Buchanan is a 26 year old photographer from San Clemente, California. He grew up in an artistic family but didn’t really start experimenting with photography until his first film photography class in college. Photography instantly became a passion and, in 2010 when he studied abroad on the Gold Coast of Australia, it would decidedly become his career as well. His passion for the ocean combined with his new love for photography led him to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, the city in which he currently resides. In the future, Maxx plans on attaining his Master’s of Fine Art in Photography, but until then you’ll most likely find him in the water, whether he’s shooting, surfing, or simply enjoying the Pacific.
