My name's Matt Ciancaglini. I'm an amateur wave/surf photographer from the most southern point of New Jersey. I mainly enjoy shooting shore break. I don't know why but I'm fascinated by the shorebreak. I only started shooting a year ago. Purchased my first DSLR January of this year. I never known anything about photography. I taught myself everything I know and I still have so much to learn. I absolutlely love it. My passion growing up was music. I use to play in a band a tour and thought that was my passion, till four years later I picked up my first camera and started shooting waves. I always bodysurfed and had a great apreciation for the ocean but it wasn't till recently in life I've developed a passion for the ocean and for wave photography. I want to continue to shoot waves and surfers and continue to learn. I want to keep exploring photography and develop my own style that stands out form everyone else.
