My name is Matthew Burt. I'm 25, and I'm from the Gold Coast in Australia. I am in love with the ocean and capturing the moments that it breeds. I first picked up a camera around seven years ago, when I started taking photos of my friends and our adventures. From there it has just manifested into something that consumes me every day. I enjoy trying to take ocean photography away from its normalilty of peope riding waves and turn my photos into something that that people look at and wonder how or why. I feel like this fact is something has kept me so addicted. To be able to take something different every day – it's the ultimate canvas. From here, I'd love to be able to continue to learn about photography and collaborate with like minded-people to create exciting images. Thats all I could ever ask for, I think.
