Originally from Colorado, Matt Aden moved to San Diego in 2006. Not knowing what he was getting himself into, Matt was immediately enamored with the sights, sounds and smells that Southern California provided. He was drawn to the beach and realized he had found the one piece of the puzzle that was missing in life. He feels more alive and at home floating in the pounding surf than he ever did before. Being able to capture the moment and share it is what truly makes him happy. Over the past seven years, something has changed inside of him, something that he will never again be able to live without–the ocean. Photography has opened the door to so many new and amazing opportunities that Matt would have never had otherwise. He considers himself truly blessed to live the life he does and thinks his photography shows it.
