Mart Howell is a 43-year-old surfer, blogger, English lecturer, amateur filmmaker, and father. This past winter he brought his family to the Saudi Kingdom, during which time his son became the first grom to grace the country's occasional waves. Mart and his family are usually based on Siargao Island, Philippines, where they live in a rustic wooden home overlooking the Pacific.
