Mark Price is a long-time surf industry exec and has helmed Firewire Surfboards since 2006. Under his leadership, Firewire has become a leader in surfboard manufacturing and, in particular, supported avant-garde board design a push toward greater sustainability. Prior to landing at Firewire, Price worked at Reef and earlier founded Tavarua beachwear. He is also a former top-ranked surfer from South Africa and is known to occasionally come up to Malibu during a pumping south swell and tear the place to bits.
