My love of surfing and a passion for film and photography was only natural, given that I had grown up on the Northeast coast of Brazil. Eight years ago I moved to Santa Barbara, California to attend Santa Barbara City College in pursuit of a career in Film Production. Not long after my move I realized that instead of focusing on a career as a Hollywood producer, my professional path would always be tied to my love of surfing. I have been surfing locally and internationally for 20 plus years, having experienced waves in Southern and Central California, Mexico, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, France, Peru, and Hawaii. Mixing my personal surfing as well as local and international surfers with the cinematography experience has been the best choice I could have made.
