Luiza Campos is a hybrid of sorts. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she migrated to the wonderful city of Los Angeles at the age of seven. Her mind is constantly split between Portuguese and English. She has been surfing since she was 13. Recently, she learned how to spearfish on a 50 day trip crossing the Pacific Ocean. While she majored in English Literature, she fell in love with photography. She then fell in love, again, with filmmaking. She ate crocodile for the first time while traveling down the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea for two months. Life is strange, and she likes that she has the opportunity of capturing it all.
