Lindsey Collins was born in Texas and has steadily migrated westward. She moved to Santa Cruz to get my PhD at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she, more importantly, learned to surf. She also races cyclocross bikes, and lives in San Francisco at Ocean Beach, which is an endless source of humility. She teaches literature, philosophy, and writing courses at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
