Linda Nowlan heads the Marine Program at West Coast Environmental Law, where she works as a Staff Lawyer. She is an adjunct professor at the Allard School of Law at UBC and a member of the IUCN Commission on Environmental Law and World Commission on Protected Areas. Linda previously worked as Director, Pacific Conservation with WWF-Canada, as a Faculty Research Associate at the UBC Program on Water Governance, and as a litigation lawyer in Vancouver. Her advocacy has contributed to numerous law reforms and her publications focus on ocean, water and biodiversity protection law.
