San Diego's Lauren Ybarra Ditonto earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of San Diego, and studied abroad at Saint Clare’s, Oxford where she cultivated her passion for literature and theater. After an internship with Surfer Magazine, she embarked on a journey to South Korea for a year to teach English in the beautiful coastal town of Busan. For Lauren, traveling is pretty much compulsory, but nothing beats the incredible joy and awe she feels upon returning to her hometown of San Diego after a long journey. Her writing can be found in several local publications in the San Diego area.
