Laura Hudecek is a program supervisor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and a ski patroller at Solitude Mountain Resort outside of Salt Lake City Utah. She grew up in the Washington DC area, and developed a love for the outdoors in the mountains of southern Virginia. She majored in biology at Colby College in Waterville ME, and moved to the west in 2006. She loves birds, short stories, NPR, pie, and trampolines.
