I'm a 23 year old photographer living in Surf City, NJ on Long Beach Island. I've been shooting for 8 years but have only recently gotten serious over the past few years. A lot of my influence has come from the tutelage Art Brewer and JP Van Swae thanks to SVA New York's Action Surf Photography classes abroad. I have had the opportunity to travel around the Caribbean as well as to Nicaragua in recent years and worked with a number of top level pros. At the end of the day though I'm just trying to capture the moments I see in surfing in a way unique to every other shot in the magazine. Not sure if I done that yet but that's my motivation to keep shooting.
