Kristen Franz is a landscape designer with a keen eye for possibilities, embodying a magnetic ocean energy. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, she grew up as an outdoor explorer with creative flare. You can find her hiking in Topanga, surfing in Malibu, painting at home, browsing farmers markets, and pedaling down the beach to her Santa Monica office. Recently she completed her Masters at USC, her final project, "Calypso: Transforming a Landscape of Fear," envisions the decommissioned San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant as a creative space for recreation, reflection, and epic surfing.
