Justin Housman grew up surfing in Morro Bay, on California's central coast, which is paradoxically the best place and the worst place on the planet to be a surfer. After earning a BA in History at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, he dabbled in grad school earning a MA in U.S./European History at San Francisco State University. Still living in San Francisco, he's leapt from the academic grad school train for the chance to work professionally in one if not both of his two great (non-romantically that is) loves: surfing and beer. When not surfing, he's probably pouring beer as a "beertender" or making beer in his or someone else's kitchen.
