On the day of his college graduation John Robison IV told himself that he had until his 27th birthday to sort himself out, so long as he stayed out of debt and didn't lose any limbs. In the time since he co-founded a tech startup, ran it for a year and a half, folded it, and took off for a three-year stretch of itinerant living. His focus was seeing Europe, the US and the Caribbean from the cockpit of a sailboat or the saddle of a bicycle. Freshly 27, he recently "settled down" in Telluride, Colorado to make good on the ski winter he's promised himself since age 13.
