Born in North Carolina and raised on a barrier island in Florida known for mostly poor surf, and world champion surfing talent, John Lynch began documenting surfing at a young age. Cut and paste self made zines and VHS filmmaking in his teenage years eventually led him to Santa Barbara. Between winter swells in west county and Ventura, John audited classes at UCSB and collaborated with fellows that would soon prosper with worldwide success in music, film and photography. Several surf expeditions later and with an evolving film industry, John moved to Los Angeles, following his heart down the path of yoga, meditation and creativity. Travel and surfing, combined with story and characters inspire John's future work.
