Joe Pregadio is the founder of Be Ocean, a personal project he initiated to fulfill, what he believes, is his obligation as a surfer. His mission materialized from the realization that he had benefitted from the ocean his entire life. Seeking to return the favor, he began his journey by asking questions and taking action. When he is not an ocean advocate, he can be found behind his desk, fulfilling his alter-ego as an equity trader. Whenever asked, he’s happy to illustrate how his profession exists with striking parallels to surfing.
