Born and raised in San Diego, Jeff Knox has been surfing, mostly in his home town of Imperial Beach, for over 50 years. A retired educator, he stays involved by working as a volunteer in the education department of the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve and the No B.S. initiative of the Surfrider Foundation. Jeff continues to travel and has surfed all over the world, often accompanied by Mercedes Sironi, his wife of 35 years.
