Jay has been surfing in the Ocean City, Maryland, and Delaware area since the age of 8. More recently, he studied Biology and Environmental Science at Salisbury University which has kept him close to the ocean. As an employee with Patagonia, he is able to pursue surfing and a life in the outdoors which resonates through his writing. Over the years, he has surfed through every major East Coast swell and always keeps a keen eye out for the next adventure.
