Jackie Connor is an Orange County-based freelance writer whose work has been featured in San Clemente's Patch.com, San Clemente Times, OC Weekly, and Surfline. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia then bouncing to Austin, Texas, Connor has always enjoyed music and art as staple forms of expression before she discovered the waves. Although her parents were set on her "hookin' horns" at the University of Texas, she opted for the West Coast, receiving her degree in print journalism from California State University-Fullerton. Connor continues to surf, write, and jam on her guitar.
