The girl behind the lens... Iwa Izydora is an action sports and travel filmmaker who earned her BFA at Otis College of Art & Design. She has traveled the world to the best surfing spots where she's captured the athleticism and lifestyle of surfers and their travel adventures. Her athleticism, vibrant personality and bold manner have gained her access to some of the top pro surf stars and brands in the surf industry. During the Triple Crown of Surfing on the North Shore of Oahu, the proving grounds of pro surfing, she teamed up with her sister Poli to shoot top pro surfers such as Kelly Slater, John John Florence, Eddie Rothman, Coco Ho, Zeke Lau, Jamie O’Brien, Kiron Jabour, Sunny Garcia and the Fletcher clan. Iwa is adept at uniquely capturing the action, emotions and essence of a moment through her skilled crafting of digital film media. Iwa’s client list includes Fuel TV, ESPN Sports, Roxy, Billabong, Vitamin A & L*Space swimsuits and RCA films. She is currently working on a new North Shore feature film with William Phelps.
