As a former roadie, Ian spent a decade living with 10 other dudes in a tour bus, traveling to exotic destinations like Bloomington, Indiana and San Antonio, Texas. He recently had his first kid, however, and being burnt out from the road, decided to settle down with his wife and daughter in St. Augustine, Florida. Now, Ian earns a living as a freelance writer and is an amateur furniture maker who manages to sell a piece or two here and there. He is currently building a hollow wooden longboard in an effort to bring surfing and timber together in a confluence of passions. Ian is happy to be putting down roots, but also can’t wait to show his little girl the world and create a few new stories from the road with his growing family.
