Experience
Heather Hendricks is a writer at The Inertia. She’s been writing about snowboarding, women’s gear, travel, mountain towns and way more for over 15 years. Currently the editor of both Jackson Hole Snowboarder Magazine, and the Silverton Summer and Winter Destination Guides, Heather also keeps busy as the curator of member opportunities for ILLA.
Prior to that, Heather worked at TransWorld SNOWboarding Magazine as a Contributing Editor and Special Projects Manager. She also worked as a Gear and Travel Editor at Teton Gravity Research. And she worked as an Online Editor of Snowboard Mag.
Based in Colorado, Heather likes to live by the seat of her pants, and is always up for a road trip or spontaneous adventure. She’s currently based outside of Aspen, Colorado in a rustic cabin she uses as a gear testing oasis. She travels often in her big ol’ Ford 250 with her rescue pup, Rosie, and spends a fair amount of time living on the road, testing gear here and there.
