Hayden O’Neill was born and raised in the cold of Southern Victoria, Australia, Residing on the Mornington Peninsula, he works closely with Cam Stynes on the collective ‘The Sailors Slum. It’s online form can be viewed here www.thesailorsslum.com. He started messing around with cameras when he was 17 and learnt a lot from close friends who happened to be studying it at the time. He fell in love with surf photography straight away, swimming out with disposable cameras and following friends from coast to coast. Photography has allowed him to explore and travel untouched places throughout the world, incorporating both digital and film. He loves to capture people within atmospheres.
