Eva has a background in photography, painting, textiles, and fashion design, with photography as her main artistic expression. However, the influence of painting and other forms of art remains visible in her work. Her favorite studio is the outdoors, most often the beach, where she captures her favorite subject: reflections. Beach goers, surfers, and kids are mirrored in the wet sand at the edge of the water. The images are records of traces of experience rather than direct documentations. The stories are as varied as the people using the beach, and yet they are quite similar in the sense that all need nature connection, play time, safe space, and, of course, time in the ocean, no matter where we come from and what our cultural background.
