Hailing from the English countryside, Emily Anderson has spent the past decade since moving to NYC telling people’s stories in a variety of mediums. She is an illustrator, designer, creative director, and, above all, a filmmaker. Along with writer/editor Yasha Wallin, Anderson founded The Usual in 2011. They create original, irreverent content for companies as diverse as Patagonia, EDITION Hotels, musicians Mike D and Metallica, Philips, TOMS and DuPont. As one of two in-house filmmakers at Ogilvy, Anderson also channels her boundless energy into creating films around the world. Her goal is to be the first female to direct a James Bond film. If she doesn’t answer her email, it’s because she’s out surfing. Sorry in advance.
