Elizabeth Sine is a historian of social movements (Ph.D., UCSD), driven to explore the many ways in which people seek to better their lives and the world around them. Her work is fueled by her connection to the outdoors and longtime love of surfing, trail running, and backpacking. She currently teaches history at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, CA.
