I was born in Canada then moved to Vero Beach, FL where I fell in love with riding waves. When I was about 19, I had a horrible knee injury playing basketball and tore my ACL, MCL, and ripped up all the cartilage in my knee. After heavy surgery and intensive rehab, I was kind of losing my mind. Spending most of my time at home watching surf movies or playing music, I decided to buy a cheap Handycam, a $20 Walmart tripod, and a basic MacBook with iMovie. Given the location, pros and other talented surfers found their way in front of my lens.
