Diego Guardia was born and raised on a coffee farm in Costa Rica. Living in a region of the country where the nearest coast is hours away, he developed a special appreciation for the ocean. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at San Diego State University, he returned home to continue to run all facets of the family coffee business. When Diego isn't working, you can find him surfing all of the best breaks around Costa Rica - from the Pacific to the Caribbean.
