David is orginally from Victoria, British Columbia but has since spent the past decade living a rather vagabond sort of lifestyle. He completed a History and Political Science degree at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, Canada, as well as a secondary school teaching qualification from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He currently resides in Phuket, Thailand where he works as History and Geography teacher at The British International School, Phuket. He uses his fifteen weeks off a year to travel and surf, usually combining the two. His surfing resume includes Canada, Thailand, Taiwan, The Philippines, Australia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, New Zealand, South Africa and Namibia, with many more to go on his wish list.
