David Blackwell is a middle-aged snowboarder, surfer, wakeboarder and rubbish skateboarder from Pembrokeshire, UK. He's a goofyfoot, except when surfing right-hand point breaks, and has spent 30 years riding waves in the Atlantic, 25 years sliding down mountains around the world and 15 years writing nonsense about action sports, all while holding down a sensible job. David is a dad of three daughters, a husband, and a mortgage payer who recently bought a drum kit. David is a longtime columnist for Whitelines, writing under the pen name, "Pingu."
