Daron Rahlves the 2001 Super-G World Champion is a three time Alpine Skiing Olympian and the most decorated American male Downhill and Super-G skier in history. Daron won 12 World Cup races, had 28 World Cup podiums and 7 US National Titles. His World Championship title was accompanied by a Silver medal at the 2005 Worlds in DH and a Bronze medal in GS. Winner of the legendary Hahnenkamm Downhill in 2003 and SG in 2004 along with 7 podium finishes in Kitzbuhel over 5 years, he shined on the World Cup's most challenging race hills. In 2008 he transitioned from Alpine racing into Ski Cross and took the win at Winter X Games 12 in Skier-X, place on the podium in World Cup and competed in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Ski Cross. From there he moved into filming big mountain free skiing with industry leading companies Warren Miller Entertainment, Matchstick Productions, Teton Gravity Research and Sweetgrass Productions. He is the founder and promoter of the Rahlves' Banzai Tour (www.rahlvesbanzai.com) since 2011, a ski and snowboard race of four competitors at a time, top to bottom over natural terrain held at Tahoe resorts. He is the Sugar Bowl Resort Ski Ambassador, represents major brands, mentors ski athletes, makes corporate appearances and outside of snow he rides dirtbikes, mountain bikes, surfs, water skis and above all is a husband and father of two.
