Daniel was born in San Paulo, Brazil. He began his professional career in the States filming and editing ski videos for his friends in Oregon. Shortly after graduating from Oregon State University, Daniel started working with Poor Boyz as the primary editor and part time videographer for JOB’s Red Bull web series. Subsequently, Albee Layer and Daniel created a full-featured surf film, Attractive Distractions, which would be their opening profile piece for a new production company entitled Take Shelter Productions. To Daniel, filming isn't really a job – it’s a passion. He is extremely grateful to support his family doing what he loves most.
