Christopher Hess is the author of Sandy Scream and Shout and Where Tigers Rest at Midnight. A lifelong surfer raised on Long Beach Island, NJ, Chris studied journalism at NYU and has since dedicated his life to weaving words and riding waves. Chris is an ink-slinging waterman, his work inspired by life in his salty hometown and his coast-to-coast travels.
