Chris Dixon is a project manager and oceanic/fine art photographer who was born in Cronulla, Sydney. Finding a deep passion for photography when he 12 years old and growing up with world famous waves at his doorstep, he was in the ocean at a young age. Upon witnessing these immense waves move and manipulate water in ways he had never seen before, at 15 he chose to spend his hot summer holidays in an overheated metal fabrication factory saving paycheques to buy his first underwater camera setup. From there his technique, eye and images evolved. Chris is passionate about creating images that harbour a surreal essence and then sharing them with those who appreciate nature and art.
